Unity is an enterprise-level electronic oral health record for public Oral Health Services of all sizes. Unite your country or state on a single electronic health record to provide seamless service across all your locations. Unity can be deployed in hospitals, school dental services, community dental clinics, or any combination of services across your region. Unity is highly configurable and supports implementation differences on a regional, health service or facility basis. Customers who use a separate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system can integrate Unity or use our embedded clinical solution Titanium Harmony.

Functional

Comprehensive

Unity is a comprehensive oral health service management solution that covers patient registration, waiting lists, referrals, appointments, recalls, clinical records, and financial records.

Clinical

Unity’s innovative clinical functionality and charting system allow your oral health clinical staff to perform their services easily and effectively. The charting system displays a clear visual representation of tooth anatomy, diagnosis, and treatment charting for ease of clinical use. Integrated imaging allows images to be viewed directly from Unity.

Clinical Workflow Management

Unity’s clinical workflow management system allows your health service to implement structured clinical workflows that ensure key decisions are made and recorded and at the same time give the flexibility clinicians need.

Forms

Unity eForms allow you to create customised clinical and administrative data capture and process. eForms can include images with annotations and are versioned and automatically generate SQL Tables for reporting and data extracts and can be built into the clinical workflow. eForms can also drive administrative and clinical processes.

Patient Management

Appointments, Referrals, Recalls, Documents and Waitlists
Multilingual Patient Communication via SMS, Email, and paper.

Service Administration and Evaluation

Along with reporting Unity includes public health assessment tools such as DMF and time-based and relative-value-based productivity measures.

Reporting

Unity uses Microsoft Reporting Services or Power BI to supply comprehensive and user-configurable reports. Dynamic ‘views’ can be created to provide a list of any type of data of interest and these lists can be filtered, sorted and used to produce reports, data extracts or directly used to contact patients via SMS, Email or printed documents.

Financial

Unity implements a comprehensive and highly configurable ‘Funding Scheme’ financial and eligibility system. Funding Schemes include patient eligibility assessment, enrolment, and either fee or non-fee-based service provision. Business rules can be implemented to require enrolment or access via a waiting list or similar. Funding Schemes cover both internal treatment provision and funding external providers via ‘vouchers’ or similar service prescription-type systems where public sector health services are being supplemented with private sector contractors or service providers.

Laboratory Requests

Prosthodontic production and laboratory management form an integral part of many dental services. The Titanium Laboratory Requests module enables you to efficiently manage the requests through to the completion of your laboratory stages.

Stock as Asset Management

Unity provides a first-in-first-out stock and asset management module including the management of expiry dates. Stock Items can be configured for all your assets and inventory, with scheduled routine maintenance and fault logging. High-value items can be barcoded and managed with SKUs to reduce the risk of loss or damage to the instrument.

Non-Functional

Concurrent, Real-time

Unity enables multiple concurrent users to access the same patient across your organisation and allows real-time access and time-saving across the entire solution. Multiple providers can update charting and treatment plans and complete clinical notes at the same time.

Integration

Unity uses standards-based integration technologies: REST API, HL7, DICOM enabling integration with common integration engines such as Rhapsody and Mirth. Unity also integrates with Origin & Salud for Dental Education covering academic course management, grading and student management.

Auditing

Unity supplies a comprehensive audit of all patient data, configuration changes and events. The Unity audit is fully reportable and exportable allowing for inspection and management.

Enterprise Eco-system

Unity uses best-practice application deployment tools for delivering high availability and scalability. Unity supports user authentication via Active Directory along with the ability to synchronise users from Active Directory automatically. This Active Directory integration works with multiple different domains that do not need to be in a trust relationship.

Service at Scale

Unity can be scaled from a single user to thousands of concurrent users. Fully redundant and load-balanced, Titanium Unity is designed to be a robust oral health solution for your organisation. Unity supports multiple patient identifiers including facility-based identifiers and/or national or state-based identifiers.

Security

Unity implements industry-standard encryption mechanisms for data in transit and at rest securing your data and ensuring the privacy of your patients. A comprehensive role-based access control framework will enable you to manage application accessibility for an unlimited number of groups through an extensive structure of security items.

Deployment/Application Delivery

Unity can be securely deployed on-premises, in the Cloud as virtual machines (IaaS) or natively in the Microsoft Azure platform (PaaS), allowing flexibility now and in the future.

Hardware Integration

Unity supports a wide range of workstation-installed imaging systems and devices such as bar code scanners, signature pads, EFTPOS terminals, RFID authentication, imaging devices and imaging software. Unity’s interface system uses a “component” approach which automatically downloads required drivers and interface software ‘on demand’ and allows third-party devices to be configured and added or removed from the system without changing or installing new Titanium software on the workstations involved.
This system works with standard Windows PCs or from within a Citrix or Windows Remote Desktop system giving you complete control over deployment.
