Titanium Origin is an enterprise level electronic oral health record for Dental Universities and Training Providers of all sizes. Operate your dental school on a single electronic health record across multiple locations for a seamless service to your patients, students, and teaching staff. Teach your oral health methodology and philosophy without compromise by using Titanium Origin configured to your vision of best practice. Origin can be a standalone system or integrate with Titanium Unity or with a third party EMR to achieve a single electronic health record.
Origin is a comprehensive oral health training and dental service delivery solution that covers patient registration, waiting lists, referrals, appointments, recalls, clinical records, financial records and student management (supervision, patient assignment, active academic course management and grading).
Origin’s innovative clinical functionality and charting system allows your oral health clinical staff to perform their services easily and effectively. The charting system displays clear visual representation of tooth anatomy, diagnosis, and treatment charting for ease of clinical use. Integrated imaging allows images to be viewed directly from Origin.
Clinical Workflow Management
Origin’s clinical workflow management system allows your dental school to create structured clinical workflows to support teaching and still allowing flexibility for postgraduates and faculty. Workflows can ensure that key decisions are made and recorded.
Origin eForms allow you to create customised clinical and administrative data capture and process. eForms can include images with annotations, are versioned, and automatically generate SQL Tables for ease of reporting and data extracts and can be built into the clinical workflow. eForms can also drive administrative and clinical processes.

Multilingual Patient Communication via SMS, Email, and paper.
Match patient treatment needs to Student course requirements. Provide visibility of student workloads and clinical experience to course supervisors and administrative staff, allowing staff and students to ensure that all students meet course requirements.
Use Origin to manage supervisor signoff, patient allocation, and course work assessment.
Titanium Origin offers highly configurable and comprehensive grading systems including competency-based grading, or scale-based assessments. Origin’s Grading solution allows you to build you own grade-charts from reusable competencies to tailor the assessment to your grading philosophy.
Origin uses Microsoft Reporting Services or Power BI to provide comprehensive and user configurable reports. Dynamic ‘views’ can be created to provide a list of any type of data of interest and these lists can be filtered, sorted and used to produce reports, data extracts or directly used to contact patients via SMS, Email, or printed documents.
Unity implements a comprehensive and highly configurable ‘Funding Scheme’ financial and eligibility system. Funding Schemes include patient eligibility assessment, enrolment, and either fee or non-fee-based service provision. Business rules can be implemented to require enrolment, or access via a waiting list or similar.
Prosthodontic production and laboratory management form an integral part of many dental universities. The Titanium Laboratory Requests module enables you to efficiently manage the requests through to the completion of your laboratory stages.
Stock as Asset Management
Origin provides a first-in-first-out stock and asset management module including the management of expiry dates. Stock Items can be configured for all your assets and inventory, with scheduled routine maintenance and fault logging. High value items can be barcoded and managed with SKUs to reduce the risk of loss or damage of the instrument.
Titanium Origin enables multiple concurrent users to access the same patient across your organisation and provides real time access and time saving across the entire solution. Multiple providers can update charting and treatment plans and complete clinical notes at the same time.
Origin uses standards-based integration technologies: REST API, HL7, DICOM enabling integration with common integration engines such as Rhapsody and Mirth. Titanium Origin also integrates with Titanium Unity for hospitals.
Titanium Origin provides a comprehensive audit of all patient data, configuration changes and events. The Titanium Origin audit is fully reportable and exportable allowing for inspection and management.
Titanium Origin uses best practice application deployment tools for delivering high availability and scalability. Origin supports user authentication via Active Directory along with the ability to synchronise users from Active Directory automatically. This Active Directory integration works with multiple different domains that do not need to be in a trust relationship.
Service at Scale
Titanium Origin can be scaled from a single user to thousands of concurrent users. Fully redundant and load balanced, Titanium Origin is designed to provide a robust oral health solution for your organisation. Origin supports multiple patient identifiers including facility-based identifiers and/or national or state-based identifiers.
Titanium Origin implements industry standard encryption mechanisms for data in transit and at-rest securing your data and ensuring the privacy of your patients. A comprehensive role-based access control framework will enable you to manage application accessibility for an unlimited number of groups through an extensive structure of security items.
Titanium Origin can be securely deployed on-premises, in the Cloud as virtual machines (IaaS) or natively in the Microsoft Azure platform (PaaS), either as an extension to Titanium Unity or as a stand-alone implementation.
Origin supports a wide range of workstation installed imaging systems and devices such as bar code scanners, signature pads, EFTPOS terminals, RFID authentication, imaging devices and imaging software. Unity’s interface system uses a component approach which automatically downloads required drivers and interface software ‘on demand’ and allows third-party devices to be configured and added or removed from the system without changing or installing new Titanium software on the workstations involved. This component system works with standard Windows PCs or from within a Citrix or Windows Remote Desktop system giving you complete control over deployment.
